A poem written by Cam the Squid
The protesters gathered. For the freedom of others. The choice to discover, an opportunity for all colors.
The MAN with a plan continues to lie. Fudging the numbers, bending the data to persuade the others.
An observer records. Hundreds of protesters continue in folds. They chant in unison against the tyranny blatantly told.
The MAN says it’s hearsay. “One by one, they are all for the villainy. Kill them all who stand against me.”
Masked and armed, ready for the anarchy. He sends in his guards, like a pack of ravenous dogs, they follow the hierarchy.
They obey their monarchy.
A protestor falls behind. The predators circle around. She pleads, as they overwhelm her to the ground.
The guards continue to beset. Their prey on her knees cold and wet. God send a hero before the onset.
The observer bravely steps in their way. A snarling guard pulls out their pepper spray. The observer tells the dogs they can’t stay.
With stinging eyes the observer is bombarded with fists. Kicking him til he can no longer resist. Forced to the ground, a bullet is the observers new crown.
The woman gets away. The media gets their field day. And the dogs all get paid.
The MAN assured it was in “self-defense.” The media helps build that fence. But I saw the video before they took it down.
The blood running from his crown. They killed a man today. A hero who stood up in Minnesota town.
They lied to the protestors. Shouted it out through their transistors. Covered up the murder.
But I saw the video of the observer shot, before they took it down.
