Here is a video on how it was made :
This has been up for some time on the old YouTube channel, but I’m just getting to posting it on the blog. I have to admit I have recently taken a step back from my go-go process to take care of more important things like my family. But for those who are wondering, I am continuously creating with most of my free time and will share when I complete projects.
Now more than ever I feel like art is needed in this world. And for those who don’t have hobbies, try it out; there are few things more exhilarating than finishing an epic piece of art, much like my “Squizard Wizard” piece here. It’s epic if only for my current place in life and my current skill in my artwork. People have to understand that there is a process, and those who make amazing art have taken the time to develop it. I think it’s important to state that those who make things look easy have put in the work, and they deserve some credit.
But it’s also important to remember that everyone has a different life, and some are brand new to making art and others are 40 years into it. Those of you who have just started this journey, please remember to celebrate your accomplishments. Those moments when you finally make a wave look like an actual wave, or, to make it even simpler, those times when you make a cool brush stroke or line. Those are times to sit back and feel good about your art. Its not meant to be perfect, because nothing ever is, but feel good that you are creating something. That is the point of art.
